2023 Holiday Ornament

The glaze has a lovely depth to it—darker in the ridges, softer on the curves—so it looks different depending on where I hang it in the window. It’s got a nice weight that makes it feel like a real keepsake rather than a throwaway bauble.

The matte finish catches the light in a way that makes it look way more expensive than it was—I’ve got mine hanging front and center on the tree. It’s got a nice weight to it too, feels solidly handmade.

The dark glaze on this little ornament is so rich and deep, it catches the tree lights beautifully. It feels like a piece of pottery you’d pull out every year and cherish, not just another mass-produced trinket.
