この器は、もともとロサンゼルスのノマドホテルのために開発されました。平らな面と浅い側面がメゼにぴったりなので、ボウルとプレートの中間のようなこの器を家庭の料理人にも使っていただけるようにしました。サテマッシュルームをのせたフムス、ラブネとフレッシュハーブをのせたもの、ディップ用にトーストしたピタパンの三角形をのせたものなど、それぞれに盛り付ける様子を想像してみてください。カルパッチョ用にデザインされましたが、シェフのダニエル・フムは、ノマドLAでローストしたナスやピクルドキャロットサラダなど、さまざまな料理に使用しています。

These arrived in perfect shape, and the shallow coupe is way more versatile than I expected—my crudo looks like it’s plated at a restaurant now. The weight feels substantial, but it still stacks easily in my cabinet.
The flat surface and shallow sides make this perfect for holding raw fish and citrus without everything sliding into a deep pit like my old bowls. It's genuinely a bowl-plate hybrid that works exactly as described for crudo and ceviche.
I was a bit skeptical about a bowl this flat, but it's genuinely brilliant for crudo and even for small composed salads. The wide, shallow shape lets everything sit beautifully without piling up, and it feels substantial in the hand. Already ordered a second one.
