The toasted glaze has this lovely depth that catches the light, and the large size easily swallows my whole collection of spatulas and ladles without crowding the counter. It feels sturdy and well-balanced when I grab it, like it could survive a decade of daily cooking.
The hand-thrown quality is obvious the moment you lift it, and the Toasted glaze has this subtle variation that makes it feel like a small piece of pottery rather than a factory bin. I went with the large size and it swallows every spatula, whisk, and ladle I own without looking crowded on the count
I keep mine out on the counter with the wooden spoons and spatulas crammed in, and the hand-thrown clay gives it this nice, slightly uneven weight that feels more substantial than a factory-made one. The toasted glaze has a subtle warmth that actually ties in with my other ceramic pieces.
